Short Bio

Blackout is a Rock and Blues band out of South Florida, playing a blend of original songs and covers from the 60’s through today. The two piece lineup features Nick Orr on Drums and Lead Vocals and Josef Pessah on Lead Guitar. You’ll often find them rocking stages in and around South Florida. Founded by Nick and Josef, their music is influenced by the bands they cut their teeth on: Led Zeppelin, Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Their sound is classic hard rock all the way, infectious guitar-laden grooves driven by a dedication to be true to the music, have fun and to keep on playing together.
